A large silver shape Whieldon Staffordshire creamware charger.
A large silver shape 'Whieldon' Staffordshire lead glazed creamware pottery charger, the wavy shaped rim with relief moulded rococo scrollwork decoration, including diaper, basket weave and trellis patterns with interspersed floral sprigs, decorated with a mottled underglaze of tortoiseshell, ochre and green sponged pigments.
A similar plate in The Victoria & Albert Museum's collection, #137E-1874, purchased from the Haliburton Collection.
