Kimi Zoet
1 February 2026 - 1 September 2026
Kimi Zoet has spent the last three years working outdoors, painting in gardens, meadows, and along the dramatic cliff edges of the Cornish landscape. Through her practice, she seeks to materialise a sense of abundance and generosity found through sustained time spent in these spaces.
Her paintings are built through the clustering and overlaying of small, soft shapes and marks. Drawing inspiration from Aboriginal artists and their non-linear, dreamlike approaches to landscape, Zoet sometimes will blend these influences with small illustrated characters that emerge intuitively as she paints. These imagined creatures are the result of a playful interaction she cultivates while working outdoors.
Zoet has held several solo exhibitions with Waitron Gallery (2023), Silian Gallery (2025), and has collaborated with esteemed brands including Michelin-listed restaurant Planque and Harrods. At the core of her practice remains a commitment to painting as a slow, responsive way of being in the landscape.
