A Regency period games table, the top of well-figured rosewood of rich colour, with a veneered sliding chess board playing surface that can be reversed to show a panel of parquetry of many different veneers, with the panel removed opening to a leather-lined backgammon well, supported on a turned and tapering columnar support with carved decoration, standing on a quatrefoil base with turned feet and brass castors.
